Waterloo Fire/Rescue is a volunteer fire department that services the Village of Waterloo. We also assist neighboring communities as needed. WFD has been active for over 50 years. The department strives to provide the highest level of services through recruiting, training, timely response, and professionalism. In doing this, WFD also pledges to keep safety a top priority of each and every member. Our hierarchy is made up of a Fire Chief, an Assistant Fire Chief, an Assistant Rescue Chief, a Fire and Rescue Captain, a Fire and Rescue Lieutenant, a Secretary, and a Sargent of Arms. The officers of WFD are dedicated to providing the membership with thorough training and education, and ensure that each member has an understanding of their individual roles and obligation to the members of the department and the community.
